These started as a broken pair of demonias sandals. After completely disassembling them, I put in the leather shoe uppers and the straps. The body of the shoe is made of sheets of foam cut into filigree shapes and glued together. I sprayed all the foam pieces with plasti-dip and silver paint.
Lots of little details and hardware application later, I had these masterpieces originally designed by Colleen Atwood, the costume designer for Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children.
